Dropping out?!

Dropping out of school or college is often seen as a rebellious or risky decision. Society tells us that the traditional education system is the only path to success. But is that really true? Some of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs—Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg dropped out and built empires. Yet,for every successful dropout, there are thousands who fail, simply because they don’t have a plan.

So,is dropping out a smart move?or is it a decision filled with regret?

Here’s an honest take on what it means to leave the traditional path and carve your own:

The Harsh Reality:

First of all, dropping out may seem fancy-no boring lectures,no exams,no deadlines,no unnecessary subjects and the freedom to do whatever you want. But the reality?it is something similiar to jumping off a cliff and trying to learn to fly without a safety net down there. If you win, you win big; but if you lose, you lose the worst. You need to overcome a lot of social judgements and more importantly self-discipline must be at its peak else every dream would forever be a dream!

It's just stepping away from a structured path and diving into uncertainty, where success depends entirely on your skills.Dropping out is neither a shortcut nor a guarantee of success—it’s just a bet on yourself. It doesn’t mean you stop learning. You’re now in charge of what you learn, how you learn it, and when you learn it.As with any big decision, there are risks. Dropping out of school can create financial uncertainty, family expectations, judgements, burnout,a toll on mental health....

Ever since I dropped out I've faced the fears of not being productive,self-doubts,handling pressures and whatnot!!I may not win, but I know I gave it my all. That is the sole reason I chose this way☮️

If someone asked me now if they should dropout, i'd say, "It depends". I never wanted to work in tech giants or large companies, so I found myself unfit for college and placements. Does that mean I would never work? A big NO. If I found a startup or company doing something that truly aligns with my goals and I was offered a job, YES, I would work.I am different, you are different and everyone is.So, act wisely. No matter what path you choose, remember that success is built on the courage to pursue what feels right for you.Good luck🤞
